Joseph Farrugia grew up on a farm in rural Ontario and has a deep connection and appreciation for nature. He graduated from NSCAD University with a BFA and then the University of Canterbury with a Dip. of Teaching and Learning. His early years as a teacher were in New Zealand, then Vietnam before returning to Canada and teaching for the DPCDSB. Most recently, he was teaching English and Law and coaching Rugby at St. Andrew's College.

Outside of the classroom, Joseph is a Master Beekeeper, has two kids, two cats and onedog. He is very excited and honoured to be part of the amazing team at HTS Online.
